Sweet potato starch production process

The process of sweet potato starch processing plant is as below:

 

The fresh sweet potato will be transported into the hopper of washing conveyor, then the potato will be washed two or three times during the transportation. The cleaned potato will transport into the sweet potato milling machine, the sweet potato milling machine will mill the sweet potato with water to get the sweet potato slurry. Then sweet potato slurry will be pumped into to centrifuge sieve to separate the fiber from crude potato starch milk.

 

Then the crude potato starch milk will be pump to the refining section for de-sanding and purifying by desanding machine and hydro cyclone group.Then the purified potato starch milk will be sent to dehydration setion, dewatering by vacuum filter and drying by sweet potato starch dryer.  At last the dry sweet potato starch will be sieved and packed into bag for storage or for sale. Then the whole sweet potato starch processing plant operation is finished.You can sell the final sweet potato starch to market or restaurant.
