1.Cleaning: Using dry sieve to remove the outer peelers, attached sand, leaves and other debris. This is the first step to ensure high quality starch.

2.Washing: Rotary type washing machine is adopted to wash sweet potato which has the features of large capacity, high efficient and good washing effect. In sweet potato starch processing line, the cleaning and washing are the basics for further processing.

5.Sand removal: The sand in starch slurry not only effect the taste of starch, but also reduce the fineness of starch, therefore it is required to be discharged in sweet potato starch processing line by desander.

6.Hydrocyclone refining: To use 18 stage hydrocyclone station in series to achieve the concentration, refining, washing and recovering of starch slurry in sweet potato starch processing line.

7. Vacuum filter dewatering: The main purpose of this step is to reduce the water content to the required quality for drying. The moisture content after dewatering is about 38%-40% in sweet potato starch processing line.

8.Starch drying: Followed dewatering step in sweet potato starch processing line, drying is used to dry cassava starch to meet the commercial standards. Special cooling system is adopted by DOING flash dryer to ensure the moisture uniformity of starch.

9.Sieving and packing: The dried starch enters into sieving machine to sieve away large particles so as to further improve the fineness of starch. And the finished starch is packed for warehousing.
