Wheat gluten, also called seitan,wheat meat or simply gluten is the main protein of wheat. It is produced by washing wheat flour dough with plenty of water until all the starch granules have been removed, leaving the sticky gluten as an elastic mass.
The traditional method is wash wheat dough to make gluten by hand . The efficiency is low and need lots of labors work. Now our compamy gluten making machine can make the gluten very easy with high efficiency for commercial use.

How to produce wheat gluten by gluten making machine ?
Making gluten from wheat flour by gluten making machine process is as below :
1. The wheat flour and water are mixed together to make the dough.
2. The resulting dough is left to rest for about 30 minutes to allow the protein components to absorb the water.
3. Add more fresh water to washing the dough in gluten washing machine which knead the dough until all the starch is suspended in the wash water.
4. Discharge the starch water .
5. Repeat step 2 & step 3 for 4~5 times until all the starch have been removed by washing method.
6. All that remains in the gluten making machine is the wheat gluten .

Wheat gluten is an alternative to soybean-based foods such as tofu. Wheat gluten is often used instead of meat in Asian, vegetarian, Buddhist, and macrobiotic cuisines.
